CRITERIA FOR VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF POSTS BY JKSSB.

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Criteria for the various Posts.

                                                       Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) today also mentioned the Criteria for the various categories of posts (i.e Teacher, Forest Guard, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Store-Keeper-cum-Clerk,Women/ IEC Worker, junior Supervisor/ Sub-Auditor, Sub-Inspector etc) where basic qualification is 10th (Matric), 10+2 (12th) and Graduation . Candidates who have applied for the various posts will be selected on the basis of Criteria mentioned by the JKSSB. The Criteria is based on the Marks obtained in the written test and total qualification of the candidates.

                                        The Services Selection Board, had advertised various categories of posts vide the advertisement notices mentioned as under;

1. Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2011 Dated. 31-01-2011.
2. Advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2012 Dated. 28-12-2012.
3. Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2013 Dated. 16-02-2013.
4. Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2013 Dated. 16-02-2013.
5. Advertisement Notice No. 04 of 2013 Dated. 23-02-2013.
6. Advertisement Notice No. 05 of 2013 Dated. 02-03-2013.
7. Advertisement Notice No. 06 of 2013 Dated. 10-05-2013.

            The posts advertised vide above notifications for initiation of selection process, the criteria framed and approved by the board, is reproduced herein below for each advertised post for information of the applicants.

Approved criteria for various categories of posts is given here under: 

S. No	Agenda point	After -thread bare discussions of the matter the Board decided to recast the criteria. It was decided unanimously that the Board will adopt below mentioned criteria for the post of :-
Agenda Item No. 1	Criteria for the Post of Teacher, where basic qualification is:- “10+2”. Preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualification and those having passed M. Ed, B. Ed and “ETT/ NTT” Diploma.	i) Marks obtained in the written test out of 180 Marks to be proportionately converted into Points)= 65 points (on pro-rata basis). ii) Graduation = 02 Points iii) ETT/NT = 01 points iv) P.G = 02 points v) B.Ed = 03 points vi) M.Ed = 03 Points v) M. Phil = 02 Points vii) Ph.D after M.Phil = 02 points  OR viii) Ph. D ( direct without M.Phill) = 04 points ix) Viva Voce = 20 points. x) Total = 100 Points

Criteria for th e post having basic qualification 10+2:- Marks obtained in the written test out of 180 Marks to be proportionately converted into Points)= 80 points (on pro-rata basis). i) Viva Voce = 20 points.. ii) Total = 100 Points

Criteria for the post having basic qualification Graduation :- i) Marks obtained in the written out of 180 Marks to be proportionately converted into Points) = 80 points (on pro-rata basis). ii) Viva Voce = 20 points.. iii) Total =100 Points
